Do you ever wonder why good people are alone???I just don't understand and I'm pretty fed up with my situation I've been alone my whole life, never been on a date, never kissed a girl (holy sh** can't belive I'm writting this), and dont have any prospects.(ironicly my freinds all come to me for relationship advice. those who can't do teach ) It's not for lack of trying. My standards aren't through the roof. I just hate the "standard" meet markets (bars, ect) so what does that leave me with: work (very limited. plus I have to work with these people) and hobbies; theater(women all taken, too young and gay guys);martial arts (things never get off the ground in a spectacular way, if thats posible) It's enough to make a guy want to swich teams but I realy don't see that happening so what are my sollutions? anyone, anyone, hello...All I know is that its killing me to sit by and see all of my friends in relationships (jealous? probably) but I don't begrudge them thier happines. But this case of "feelin' single seein' double" is kicking my a**. I meet a girl and it's "you're such a 'nice guy' but try and even imply anything more and it's "don't touch me you horny pervert" (figuratively speaking ) Any questions or coments would be greatly appreciated. Anything to know i'm not alone out there.p.s. Thanks for putting up with my pointless and self centered rant

I would have to give you the same advice, dont give up hope. Maybe if you widened your horizons a little bit?? what about going to book stores or the library or coffee shops?? just a few places for meeting girls. (or the laundromat like in 40 days and 40 nights??)unfortunatly most of us have felt this way at one time or another and i commend you for not starting an office romance!! that could get you in way over your head!

Try something different, something that would involve you in a different field of socialisation. Love is not a race. It's ok to be a littel inexperienced. The worst thing that you can do is to give up.The focus is the main point... falling in love is really just about getting to know someone better. Just like you do a great friend. Obviously you'll want to find someone similar (but not the same) as you, and so try finding activities where you share common interests. It need not be as dramatic as cooking, it could be just as simple as watching a movie or even planting a tree! Just take it one step at a time. 1. Meet more people. 2. Decide on what/ who you like. 3. Do something about it. (like: "hey you're interesting, I'd like to get to know you better" or something... whatever). Remember, if you look for love and give love, it will find you.Just go out there and have fun, and learn new stuff. You'll meet new people in the process, and get to know them better. Who knows what will happen! You owe it to yourself to have that chance. Being self centered is fine, just care about yourself enough to care about someone else.Best of luck, and keep smiling!

Everyone always told me it would happen when you least expect it, and I found out they were right. We have all been where you are at one point in time. Sometimes when you look too hard you only wind up with the wrong people. And sometimes you just need to get the nerve to walk right up to someone and ask them out. Spend less time worrying about finding a relationship and more time just having fun and meeting new people, you never know, Ms. Right could be just around the corner. Good Luck
