Hi all..anyone here who can help me? I am 52yrs old., my ex is 56...he came on real strong when we met, but now realize he cant committ...we have been on and off for 18mths...but he always goes home and i dont know what he is up to...He says he wants to be friends, but last time he insisted on us sleeping together...(i didnt want to , but still in love with him) i try and break it off but cant...he insists we are friends, but i read postings he does on BBC to a woman and realize something is going on with them....He wants to come down for xmas, I dont know what to do....(Inside I know) but do we live for today or what? I will be real glad for some advise and support.......Thankyou....

Angelique, what do YOU want? What will make YOU happy?Do you want a man who can't commit? Who offers you only an on again off again relationship? Do you want to be JUST a friend who gives him more than you should give someone who is JUST a friend? Do you want a man who has something going on with another woman too? Even if you choose to just live for today, are your todays actually better because of him?

Thanks for advice....My answer to all those questions are NO. But I am lonely, never seem to meet anyone else . I dont think I have two heads, reasonable looking, not overweight but never seem to find anyone at all. I have only married friends so I have no-one to go out with. I work in a hospital and do all kinds of shifts and there is no chance of meeting anyone at work. Everywhere I go, I go alone. What is a woman supposed to do?Be grateful for any suggestions.Regards
