Okay, a while back there was a guy that had a really big crush on me. He was in my class (college) and he was too intense and scared me off. He wasn't creepy or aggressive, just that no one ever liked me before and I didn't know what to do/how to feel. I ended up ignoring him even though the whole class knew he liked me. Long story short, he got over me, is not interested in me anymore. Problem is that I have been having a crush on him now for many months and I regret not pursuing a relationship with him before. I just want to get over him and move on with my life. I am 22 and have lots of time for dating, etc. But, every song reminds me about him. I don't *want* to be in love with him because he has told me that he is not interested in me anymore. What can I do to forget him and get over the regret of never knowing what might have been. I am out of school now and need to get a temporary job. I start school again in August, but don't want to spend the next 5 months thinking about him or obsessing over the fact I regret not gong out with him.

The summer is coming up, I graduate soon, all that time to just think about "HIM" makes me melt.  I have been single since my freshman year of college, and then I pursued this guy in my class and ended up falling hard for him.  He is a keeper! The only thing is that he wants to pursue his career goals first, without a girlfriend. I understand and respect his wishes, but that doesn't mean I don't hurt.  The best thing I can tell you that I have been doing is focusing on myself.  Anything to keep your mind off of this guy!!! I have tried new things: tennis, pampering myself, organizing my closet, going to new bars, reading "college to career" books, etc..  Everything happens for a reason! Maybe this was to show you NOT to pass up the next great guy that comes along! If this guy is "over you" then he is obviously the one missing out!!! b/c you are nothing to "get over!" you are UNFORGETABLE! I hope this helps, I just hope I can practice what I preach!!!!
