I have to be away from the girl I love Post a Reply | Views: 601 | Started By: being away | Replies: 2 I am a 19 year old guy in his first year of college.  I had VERY little luck with girls in high school.  I just was not much of a socializer, and by the time sophomore year rolled around i quit trying.  I felt like a loser, and I had very low self-esteem.  I grew up without a father so I did not have much help on this sort of thing, and i lacked fatherly advice.  I could not wait for high school to be over.  I was completely fed up.  Some time in march of my senior year i met this girl at a friends house.  I was struck with awe by how beautiful she was.  We kept seeing each other after that, and quickly fell in love.  The last months of my senior year were incredible because of her.  As if all my 4 years of anguish and depression had paid off.  She was all i thought about.  We would spend hours and hours on the phone together.  She was unlike any girl i have ever met.  We had an incredible summer together.   Now, my problem is that I am stuck at a college 6 hours away.  She is still in high school.  This girl is no doubt the girl for me.  We have everything in common.  It is killing me to be away from her.  She is more important to me than where i go to school.  Next year I am transferring to a school closer to home so i can be nearer to her.  I love her incredibly.  I am anticipating a slow four months ahead until i can really see her alot again.  We talk alot on the phone, its the best i can do.  I am very young but I feel confident there is a good chance i could make this girl my wife 6 or so years down the road.  She's one of the greatest things to ever happen to me.  I really dont have a question for anybody, i just needed to get all this off my chest.  I would appreciate any advice anyone has to offer. thanks.
