Hey, he dropped a hint, or more like "made it obvious" so don't stress.  You don't plan a wedding before proposal, you plan it AFTER!  So wait for him to propose and then start planning.  Otherwise ask him if he plans to propsoe or does he expect you to take your disussiona s a proposal, just tell him you want to know if you should starrt planning something or if he still plans to make it officail.  Don't kill yourself about it, if he proposes a month before the end of the year, it doesn't mean you have to still get married end of the year.  If he proposes later, then you'll have to get married later too.  A wedding is a once in a lifetime thing (so I hope for you) therefore take your time to plan it and sve enough money to make it the perfect wedding you always dreamed of.  It takes at least a year to plan a wedding, if you REALLY push it, then 6 months, but with the venues being booked up a year in advance is also what determines your wedding date.  Good luck!
